NEA-NM Hall of Fame
The NEA-NM Hall of Fame is a prestigious award presented to NEA-NM members who have been retired for a minimum of 2 years and who have served and worked for the good of the organization and public education in New Mexico. This year's Hall of Fame will be held during our Summer Leaders Conference.
Street Data: A Next Generation Model for Equity, Pedagogy, and School Transformation
Education can be transformed if we shift our focus from “fixing” and “filling” academic gaps, to envisioning and rebuilding the system from the student up—with classrooms, schools and systems built around students’ brilliance, cultural wealth, and intellectual potential. Street data reminds us that what is measurable is not the same as what is valuable and that data can be humanizing, liberatory and healing.
NEA Representative Assembly 2022 (July 3-6, In Person)
Each summer, nearly 7,000 educators meet to debate the vital issues that impact American public education and set National Education Association policy and activities for the year ahead. These delegates represent the 3 million members of the NEA.
This year delegates will meet at the Representative Assembly in person in Chicago, July 3-6, and online from around the country. Pre-RA meetings start on July 2.
