Our 2026 NEA-NM Delegate Council will take place on October 23 and 24, 2026, at the Embassy Suites Albuquerque. This council meeting will feature our keynote speaker NEA President Princess Moss to address the Delegates.
We will honor that legacy at our Celebration of Excellence Awards Ceremony: 140 Years Strong, Honoring a Legacy of Learning. During this special event, we will recognize outstanding educators and friends of education from across New Mexico who make a difference in the lives of students, schools, and communities every day. We will also welcome a new class of retired educators into the NEA-New Mexico Hall of Fame, celebrating their years of dedicated service and lasting contributions to public education.
For 140 years, educators and advocates have stood together in support of students, strengthened our profession, and championed the promise of public education. As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, we honor the legacy that brought us here and reaffirm our commitment to carrying that legacy forward for future generations.
